So LeBron along with a bunch of other players are now free to go to whatever team they want, and everyone's eyes are on LeBron. Some say he'll never leave Cleavland, some say the big three, LA, Chicago, or New York are his only options. Well regardless of where you want him to go, here's the reality.
He has to leave Cleavland! He's been there how many years, and what, came close but just no! Face it Ohio, he's the only thing there, no team to back him up. He has nothing!! Shaq is washed up and old, he's done.
Speaking of teams backing up, Chicago is where its at. Sorry everyone, but that's his best choice possible. Chicago has been a playoff team the past few years, but with no big leading star. Rose is young, still developing, but LeBron's best choice for a partner in crime. Word is LeBron is a fan of Rose, and I bet playing together would be something special. The rest of the team is a great back up: Noah, Deng, and with another full slot open to pick up another free agent to go with LeBron. Chicago is calling for LeBron and Bosh, which would be a great combo. Rumor going around that D. Wade is leaning towards Chicago. Now imagine that, Lebron and Wade together. Dynasty? The only hurtle would be having them working together. They were able to on the Olympics, so it is possible. Face it LeBron fans, Chicago is his best bet. MJ didn't win a championship right away. He started in the NBA in the mid 80's, and didn't win one til 91'. He needed a team to back him up, same as Lebron, so there's your proof. Remember when MJ came back in 96', and had an even better team behind him? Yeah, they went 72-10 that year, and given the title "greatest team of all time". You think a team of Rose, LeBron, Deng and Wade could challenge that title? Also a new coach for Chicago fresh from Boston who just went to the finals last season. I don't know about beating it, but certainly a worthy contender.
LeBron going to New York, no. There's no team there, nothing but a few of moderate, slightly above average players, which some of are also free agents. So, no.
LeBron to Miami? Only if Wade stays. Those two with O'Riley, that would be a serious threat. But with Wade leaning for Chicago, probably the lower salary, Miami doesn't look so great.
LA, as in the Clippers...hell no...just...no
Also, Phil Jackson has been confirmed to stay one more year with the Lakers, and Pierce is staying with Boston, because they have a good thing going at Boston.
Whatever LeBron does, all I can say is this, if he is smart, and I mean thinking longterm smart, he is def leaving Ohio folks.
Now if he's smart, longterm and salary smart, Chicago is where he needs to go.

So today was my first day back at classes. Nothing special today, just an introduction day, you know (CODE:06686). But I did spend most of my day hanging with my old french class buddy Jake. Real cool dude. The one guy I can be a total nerd with and have all these nerdy conversations. It was awesome. Conversations went from Star Wars to movies, to dogs, to TV shows, to monsters, Tenacious D and many other things. Then we had even more fun and headed back to my house. Had some eats, since I forgot my wallet today, watched some videos and played some Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands. Then he got me interested in finishing my Star Wars fanfiction that's been in development for about 4 1/2 years, being on hiatus for the last 2 lol. Good Times today.
Today also marks me getting in the "Anime Mood" again. Trust me when I say, I love anime, but I always have to be in the zone to be into watching my animes.
Currently watching:
Zoids: New Century Zero (classic Toonami)
Genshiken (I really wanna finish this series)
K-On! ( I barely even started this one)
Dragon Ball: Kai (kinda off and on)
Death Note (I always love re-watching this one)
Yu Yu Hakusho (my all time favorite and I'm always up to watch it!)
zomganime.com likes to suggest animes that might interest people to see, and this week's suggestion of Bonen no Xamdou looks kinda cool. Another suggestion, Ga-Rei Zero, looks cool too.
If you're interested in watching some anime online for free, I watch at
zomganime.com
They categorize anime shows very well and have almost any that you can think of.
I also need to catch up on my anime magazine reading in Otaku USA Magazine . Very good magazine for westerners like me.
Also real quick, there are a bunch of video games coming out soon that I can't wait to get! And surprisingly, the majority of them are Wii titles!
Wii
Tatsunoko vs Capcom
Red Steel 2
No More Heroes 2
House of the Dead: 1&2 (already out)
Metroid: Other M
GameCube
Zoids: Battle Legends
XBOX 360
Dead Rising 2
Halo: Reach
King of Fighters XII (already out)
Bayonetta (already out/prob gotta just rent it)
Ugh, I need money T_T
There are prob more games but I can't remember any of them right now.
That's all for today, laters!

I also need to watch Tekkonkinskeet (sp?). I love the art style of it, but I only have it with Japanese audio T_T

Not too bad a year for video games, movies and music in 2009. Here are some of my favorite Video Games from the past year, in no real order.
Batman: Arkham Asylum
From the first trailer I saw, til the first time I played it at Wal-Mart, til i bought the game, great game. When I first heard about it, I knew it was going to be based off a graphic novel of the same name that I had just bought. Of course the game had more action. One thing I was real happy was they didn't release this when The Dark Knight was out. Its not a cash in or a tie-in, it is its own separate thing and rocks. Lastly, to anyone who played the game, gotta love that "game reset" part, freaked me out hah
Halo3:ODST
All the way up til this game's release, I was against it. Didn't want to play it, didn't look good to me. Right before it came out I gave in and bought it. Turned out to be pretty good. All I can really say though, is the pistol returned to its awesomeness once again.
Left 4 Dead 2
I was all for this game from the get-go. No boycott bullshit. For it being such a quick sequel, it didn't disappoint. Plenty of new stuff and new fun.
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
The spiritual successor to Guilty Gear, its one of the best 2D fighters of all time. If you play this game, it MUST be on a HDTV, because it looks so beautiful that its stunning. Cool characters with a great style to it.
Borderlands
Just picked this one up recently and its a blast. Finally a game that has so much to do in it and a lot of replay value. It truly is a RPG/FPS fusion.
Red Faction: Guerrilla
Destroy anything, and this game means ANYTHING. Nothing more fun that taking out the bottom of a building and yelling "JENGA!" as it topples over. Aside from the repetitive story mode, solid game.
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
With Borderlands being a RPG/FPS fusion, this game is definitely a RPG/Fighter fusion in every way. A Final Fantasy fan's wet dream, playing as your favorite hero from FF I-X, building your character's stats and so on, a blast and one of the greatest looking games on the PSP.
Resident Evil 5
I'll admit, this game isn't scary at all. But I think a very worthy successor to RE4. Fun to play, cool guns, good enough story, and Sheva is a welcomed new character.
Disappointments of the Year:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I stopped playing this series after Call of Duty 2, but I did give this one an honest try, and its just not for me. Story was pretty crazy, but still needs work on developing characters and telling a more easy flowing plot. And I still think they stole that ending (the whole knife bit) from The Scorpion King.
Halo3:ODST
Now I know I already had this one up there, but this game does have one majorly broken thing; firefight has no matchmaking. If it did, it would of given this game so much more life. Since it doesn't, its unforgivable.
Sadly no Wii games really caught me this past year. I'm sure New Super Mario Bros. Wii was the game, but sadly, SOMEONE didn't get it for me for Christmas, even if it was on my list. But that's ok, I'll prob end up getting it, I hear its good.
Moving on to Movies, 2009 did have some goodies:
District 9
Honestly, leading up to this one I wasn't really excited about it. Saw it and my mind was changed. The story was told in a great way. The characters were its strongest part. One of the best this year.
Zombieland
They're lucky because this movie came out at the perfect time with zombies being more popular than ever. The dialouge and interaction between the characters is what makes it great. Along with the BEST actor cameo prob of all time in film (you know who). A great movie, can't wait to buy it for sure.
Terminator: Salvation
The future war is nice and grim like it should be. Great action and look, but Bale needs to lay off that voice, seriously.
Up
Pixar strikes again. A very warm tale. Better than Finding Nemo and Monster's Inc. at the very least.
Monsters vs. Aliens
Wow, this movie is actually funny. I was surprised.
Watchmen
Using the actual graphic novel as storyboard, this movie was very loyal to its source. Many people were upset because they took something out of the ending, which I wasn't upset about in the very least. It was minor, didn't effect the ending of the movie; the film and novel still had the same ending. Along with great looking costumes, most of the actors fitting perfect, and that hot Silk Spectre II chick, great movie. Only two minor complaints though: this is a Zack Snyder movie which means it has his signature annoying slow-mo moments, and the choice of music is awkward to me at times.
Star Trek
Very surprised with this one. Back in the day I was only a fan of The Next Generation, but this one was a lot of fun. Made me interested in the original series. Still though, Star Wars all the way!
Crank 2: High Voltage
Can you top the first Crank? Apparently you can! One hell of an insane ride form start to finish. My favorite part was the Godzilla tribute. This movie could easily be renamed "GTA: The Movie"
Disappointments:
Transformers 2
I'll say, better than the first one; better fights, slightly better dialogue, and of course Megan Fox. The kid's mom is still annoying as crap, and please, if there's a third one, PLEASE no more stupid sex jokes, PLEASE!? Honestly though, I really don't see what's so great about these movies.
Paranormal Activity
Ok, its a little scary because I sorta believe in ghosts and demons and such, but its not scariest ever. Though I'll admit, took me awhile to fall asleep that night, only that night.
Ninja Assassin
Story sucked, characters sucked, and the action really wasn't anything special.
Knowing
Honestly I liked the first half of the movie, but the ending, fuck that movie.
Harry Potter 6
First time I saw it, I hated it. Bunch of horny kids. I have seen it a second time and its better, but prob my least favorite movie of the series.
X-men Origins: Wolverine
Honestly, wasn't too bad, but I've never liked X-men at all to begin with.
Music
Umm, honestly didn't get a lot of new music this past year. I got Dead By Sunrise's debut CD, but I think that was pretty much it. Oh and Green Day's new CD too, which was alright.
I can give you a few songs I liked hearing. Heard most of these in the summer on radio kuz of work.
"New Divide" - Linkin Park
"War" - Sick Puppies
"You're Going Down" - Sick Puppies
"Champagne" - Cavo
"Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" - Cage the Elephant
"On My Way" - Billy Boy on Poison
"Whiskey Hangover" - Godsmack
"Second Chance" - Shinedown
"Dirt Room" - Blue October
"The Night" - Disturbed
"Panic Switch" - Silversun Pickups
"Let It Rock" - Kevin Rudolf
"You're Gonna Go Far Kid" - The Offspring (actually not sure if this is 2009 or 2008)
"Bitter Sweet Symphony" - The Verve
"Eyesore" - Janice
"She's A Genius" - JET
"Everywhere I Go" - Hollywood Undead
Agree? Disagree? What were your favorites?
On a side note, too many famous people died this past year. Or maybe this was the first year that I actually noticed. I don't know, but it seemed like after Michael Jackson died, it became the "cool" thing for news people to do, report any famous dead person now, even if no one remember them until they died. Kinda lame if you ask me. Billy Mays though, damn.

I may only be 21 years young, but all this death around me really needs to stop for a good while. I guess it has been awhile since I've felt like this, but it never gets old, it still gives me a weird feeling, and this time I don't know if I'll deal with it the best possible way.
My friend Katherine, been good friends with her for a good while, her mom passed away last night from breast cancer. She had been battling it for a good number of years now. I heard today Katherine took it real hard, wouldn't leave her mom's bedroom, took a lot to get her out of there. This makes me feel real sad, but I don't blame her, I'm sure I'd do something very similar.
I feel real bad and wish I had something to talk to her about, but I hear she's been throwing around the "you don't know how I feel" sorta line. Its kinda sad when people become too emotionally irrational that they won't listen.
Thing is though, my mom went through the exact same thing when she was Katherine's age. I pray that when we do go see her, Katherine will listen to my mom.

So its been awhile since I've posted and I figured I'd post, even though next to no one, if that, will read this. I just enjoy typing ^_^
So I started school this week. Pretty good, my classes seem ok. Sadly, my first day of classes, I skipped a class already. Yeah...I get to the class, a little late because its pretty far from the parking lot. I get there, and there's a notice, ROOM CHANGED. So I'm like "Ugh". Looked at it and it got changed to the OTHER SIDE OF CAMPUS! So I said "fuck it" and didn't bother walking all the way back.
Other than that, umm, my international relations class seems kinda ok. My professor is surprisingly REALLY cute, I'm not gonna lie. She's not hot, she's cute. And her personality reminds me of JUNO a little bit, which I like. She did tell us she's 32, has 3 kids, all under the age of ten, and I'm guessing she's married because I saw a ring. But whatever, not like I was gonna hit on her or something, I'm not that cool.
French 3 is the same old french class. Boring. Good thing I have my friend Jake in it, or I'd really be bored. I like it though because its all really easy to me. I mean, this is the 7th french class that I'm taking in my life. Oh and someone remind to talk to these freshmen girls who sit behind me tomorrow. They seemed clueless and kinda cute, so we'll see where that goes. I'm sure no where.
I went to my graphic design class tonight. It was ok. Seems like its gonna be a little more work than I think it should. This is part 1 of the class, but I've already taken part 2 lol That's my adviser for ya. But it seems ok. My professor is VERY asian. Hard to understand but I got most of what he said. He seems easy and flexible. I liked the teacher I had for the part 2 class, he was more laid back and easy going. This asian guy seems more uptight and professional. But that's probably a good thing for me, so we'll see. Ian is in my class, so that should help.
Switching gears, I'd like to talk about an anime I recently got into, thanks to my Otaku USA magazine:

Genshiken!
In short, its an anime about a group of college kids who are in a club called Genshiken, which I forget what it stands for, something long, but everyone in the club is an Otaku (meaning they're all obsessed with Japanese culture, like anime, manga, video games, cosplay, plasmos, hentai, ect...) The characters are all really likable. Each episode is always fun. The anime has no real set plot, its more of an everyday out of real life deal, which i like a lot, makes the connection with the show feel more real.
The show has a good style, some good jokes here and there, and funny Otaku moments. Its funny the other day I went into the game room at my school, and two people in there instantly reminded me of two characters from this show, and it was great ^_^
So I would say if you're a fan of anime, manga, or video games, this is a show worth checking out.
The only bad thing I have to say is the second season feels a little too different from the first season. The first is great, but the second you can tell there were different people directing each episode, which is funny because they make this a joke in the show. But its still watchable.

The characters are all really likable.

So Thursday during work, I was driving one of the trucks, when my shorts fell kinda down on my waist, and the studded belt pushed against my tailbone. It kinda hurt after that. Friday it got real bad, I had this nice good sized lump on my tailbone, and it hurt without even touching it. I barely made it through work that day. I just wanted to get out of there, rest the whole weekend so this stupid thing would go away.
Well Saturday was worse. The lump caused me to not be able to sleep on my back, which is how I like to sleep. So I had to sleep either on my side of stomach, which sucked. I got about 4 hours of sleep.
Saturday I tried roughing it. I had ice on my tailbone for awhile. That night I couldn't sleep. I woke up 4 or 5 times, took a hot bath at 4:30am, and still nothing. Finally after laying there for awhile, I couldn't take it, the pain was too much. At about 7:30am, I went to wake up my mom and told her I was in too much pain, we need to go to the hospital. So she got up and got ready. Sucked because I'm in pain, and she takes a bath, does her makeup and does her hair with me in freakin' pain!
So we get to the ER, and we get helped right away because for once, there was no one in there. Turned out my lump was an skin abscess, caused by bacteria getting into my skin and infecting it. Which makes sense because I had a slight fever of 99.6 F the night before. The took my temp at the ER and it got up to 100.6F. I was given the hospital gown to put on, and in a small room to wait for a doctor. They were going to do a procgure called Lancing, which is cutting open my lump and draining out the puss inside it, and filling with stuff called Casting so it doesn't build back up again.
So the doctor came in. I had to lay on my stomach, my ass only exposed, and to start, the doctor gave me pain medicine to numb the tailbone area. He said "You're going to feel a pinch." Well...I did, a stabbing pinch actually, and four times!!! To cover the whole area around my tailbone. It was the worst pain ever. When they say they're going to give you pain medicine, they actually mean they're about to inflict pain on you.
So after that, I couldn't feel anything. So he went on, cut me open, and drained me. I was laying flat so I couldn't see, and good thing. My mom, who was there, said the puss strayed out a few times, and a lot of blood was there.
Doctor got it all out, put in the casting. Tomorrow I have my followup with my doctor to get the casting out. Since the "minor surgery", which is what the hospital papers said it was, I've had a big bandage on my tailbone. Its still sore back there but no where near as painful as it used to be. But its hard to walk, I couldn't sit or lay down without pain because of pressure on my tailbone. Its starting to get better. Today I went in for work, and I couldn't make it the whole day. Hospital put me on two meds for 2 weeks. One of them says I need to stay out of direct sunlight. Well that's kinda most of my job right there. So today I work, the sun made me dizzy, walking hurt kuz I limped when I walked, and I was just not feeling good. So I booked only after about 3 hours. Thank God Bill let me go. I'm sure he understands. And thank you Jessica for supporting me.
So we'll see where this goes, I hope I'm healed up before July 31, my birthday! I'd like to sit comfortably that day and drink.
Also, thanks to Aaron and Mike from twitter for their concerns, I'm doing alright guys.

So I'm going to finish reading the Watchmen novel tomorrow and hopefully catch the movie this weekend. But now, GameRadar has pissed me off bagging on the movie and a downloadable game, The End is Nigh. Ok, time for me to rant...
First off, about the movie. Have you ever heard of a movie, based off some kind of book, to EVER be better than the book? NO! It never is, never. Not the Harry Potter movies, not Wanted, not The Notebook, not To Kill A Mocking Bird, not Twilight, NOTHING.
So if you know that already, why are you pre-judging the Watchmen movie already? I'm a huge fan, and I already know the movie won't be as good. You have to learn to accept that with these kind of movies and just have fun with the movie!
Instead, go see the movie and appreciate seeing the words (and for Watchmen, the pictures) come to life and move with music, sound, and, for Watchmen especially, visually look cool on the big screen. Don't judge it against the book, judge it as a movie and that's it. Yes, you can compare it to the book, but don't let that ruin the fun of the movie and your enjoyment.
As for the game, well, all it is is a beat-em-up, which are fun. Its just a little treat. You can't be too upset for it only being that. Most people don't want the movie to exsist, so at least this game is a prequel and something NEW, not recycled story to make money like all movie based games. Yet, yeah, this game is to make quick money too, but nonethless, its something different for Watchmen. Plus you can't be too mad, its only a downloadable game. Its not like its taking up space at the store on the shelves. Making it downloadable only seems like being fair and respectful.
It is just a movie, a game, and a book after all, that's it, no need to get all uber upset.

So exactly 3 minutes ago from the moment of this typing, I actually got one side of my Rubik's cube to be one color! Take that orange! Five more sides to go, ugh.
So my projects seem like I announce them, say I'll do them, and then...I don't do them. So I really wanna do these next one. A series of videos called "A Look Into the Past". Three videos for the series are planned.
Also, sorry my latest AMV contest is taking so long. If I'm going to do my end of the year AMV of the year contest is still up in the air.
